Business process integration with TrueOrders(TM)

Technologies have been developed to enable all the relevant Product, Process and
Resource (PPR) information to be defined, updated and managed comprehensively as
illustrated in the above figure. This approach enhances data integrity and version control,
which is critical as the PPR information changes continuously over an entire product lifecycle.
Sophisticated functions are provided to allow the different PPR objects and relationships to
be defined and managed flexibly.
The embedded Windchill(TM) product data management (PDM) and collaborative workflow
technologies from PTC allow TrueOrders(TM) to manage the product structures, documents
and workflow processes throughout the entire product lifecycles. With optional CAD adapters,
TrueOrders(TM) can be integrated with popular CAD/CAM software, allowing product designs
to be managed, shared, annotated and viewed with its advanced 3D visualization technology.
This capability promotes collaboration among team members involved in product
development.
TrueOrders(TM) provides very strong features for change management and revision control
to ensure a proper audit trail of transactions. Such capabilities are critical for successful
product and process lifecycle management in a collaborative enterprise.
